One Hundred Black Men, Inc. of New York (OHBM) are short on words and long on actions. This year OHBM continues its mission of actively servicing African-American communities with its 6th annual citywide Hunger Relief Initiative in partnership with several churches by donating funds and distributing meals at locations throughout the city.
One Hundred Black Men, Inc. of New York President Michael Garner was on the scene lending a helping hand to local residents at citywide distribution sites. Salem United Methodist Church in Manhattan was one of several Church destinations where Micheal Garner and other One Hundred Black Men, contributed in distributing meals throughout the city.
Meal distributions totaling over 2,500 boxes of food, each with enough groceries to feed a family of four. Providing meals for over 15,000 New Yorkers!
On Sunday, December 24, 2017, One Hundred Black Men, Inc will present Abyssinian Baptist Church with a generous donation through their Hunger Relief program. Pastor Calvin O. Butts, III and Abyssinian Baptist Church will also honor One Hundred Black Men, Inc. of NYC for playing a proactive role in leveraging their collective talents, abilities, energy and resources toward achieving meaningful gains for the African-American community.
